MY HERO...
Moebius was one of my all time heroes in ALL of art.I don't have the words to express what I went through all day after the news.
All I can do is be perpetually grateful to have met and shook the hand of one of the grandest super-creators I've ever known of.I got the chance to give him some of my OWN published books AND he liked it.It gets better.
I had a roommate once that was french and went home often.He also KNEW Moebius and enjoyed dinner and wine with the mega-talent and his wife.Well,what do you think I did?I made him some original art from his work on TRON,hand delivered by my friend and he liked it so much he took time to do me a ink washed sketch just for me.It's a warrior with a spear walking up over a hill.It's sick.I'll dig it up now and show you soon.
The planet is less without this man to inspire us.Thanks be to the gods he was a working "machine" and left us with a massive library of his brain.He did things no one else will. Hands down master of" 'wordless" storytelling.I learned from this being.We all did and probably will continue to.
All we can really do as artists is strive to  leave behind a gallery,a plethora of our skill.Frank Frazetta,Stan Winston,Ray H. and many more are now chillin' with the mighty Moe!!Imagine THAT party!
(I have to thank the kick-ass Kevin J. Taylor for introducing me to his highness at ComicCon in 1995.Kevin is best known for "The Girl".)

This has done a number on me and I'm not sure I'll be around much,so don't be offended if I drop the ball on communication.

Animal Mystic has been a huge part of my life and I've got Animal Mystic, a full print run of art cards and just got Water Wars. I thought it was going to have the Collizion characters - oops! But seriously, what happened with Collizion, it needs to happen. It's incredible!

I have to tell you how much I love your work, because it's like you love every single little detail. Every surface is decorated, or scratched and dented, or painted, or wrapped, or beaded, or beringed.... Every minor little character and each little critter in a horde of monsters has its own personality and style. I could just stare at your work for hours! Just wow! I've wanted to say that for years!
